Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the standard P50 that comes with January 2022 HarmonyOS system optimization. The update mainly aims at the performance side of the phone and provides a new user experience once installed on the device. Therefore, were recommend you grab it as soon as it drops on your P50 device.

For your information, Huawei P50 January 2022 system optimization update comes with HarmonyOS 2 version 2.0.1.190 upgrading from HarmonyOS 2.0.1.186. This update is rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach every P50 model.

  2. We recommend users of this device take a backup to reduce changes losing essential files.
