Huawei P40 Lite gets May 2023 EMUI Update

Huawei P40 Lite is receiving a new software update in the global market and the company is sending new May 2023 EMUI security patches for better data safety. All of the users should get the new upgrade as soon as it appears in the notification panel.

Or you can download it manually via Settings, then open System & Updates. From here you need to enter Software update and then tap on the CHECK FOR UPDATES.

May 2023 update for Huawei P40 Lite comes with a firmware version 12.0.0.285, upgrading from EMUI 12.0.0.285. The company has packed this new patch with 248 megabytes.

Huawei P40 Lite equips a hole punch 6.4 inches display. On the other hand, the phone comes in three beautiful color options Sakura Pink, Midnight Black, and Crush Green.

It is powered by Kirin 810 chipset with octa-core architecture of 2 x Cortex-A76 2.27 GHz + 6 x Cortex-A55 1.88 GHz.

From the software side, the Huawei P40 Lite ships with EMUI 10.01. Then, the phone then jumped to the EMUI 12, which enhances the user experience. For now, Huawei has not announced EMUI 13 software update for this device but we’ll have wait for more information on this matter.
