Huawei P40 Lite 5G getting new update with September 2020 security improvements

Huawei P40 Lite 5G grabbing a new update that brings the security patch released in September 2020, which improves the system security and also the overall device performance.

Aside from this, Huawei has released a roadmap of EMUI 11 that includes device list, rollout dates, closed and public beta recruitment, stable releases, and progress report.

According to the roadmap, the Huawei P40 series will receive stable EMUI 11 in November 2020. But, the company didn’t reveal any information on EMUI 11 beta regarding P40 lite.

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

EMUI VERSION:

Huawei P40 Lite 5G getting September 2020 security update with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.197 in Europe. The package size of this update is 201MB.
