Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone has started collecting the October 2021 EMUI security update that improves the system. Alongside this, this firmware update also added the quick download shortcuts for some popular apps.

Also, October 2021 update for Huawei P40 Lite 5G brings the GameCenter app and quick download shortcuts apps including for Books, Petal Maps, and Celia Keyboard. After installation of this update, users can easily download the mentioned apps directly by touching the shortcut icon.

The October 2021 EMUI security patch fixes 1 critical, 27  high levels, and 2 medium-level CVE as well as it also resolves 56 hidden privacy issues found in the previous EMUI version.

EMUI 12 for Huawei P40 Lite 5G:

Huawei finally launched the EMUI 12 for the global consumer and also started the EMUI 12 beta for its front line smartphones that belong to P40, Mate 40, and Mate 30 series. The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is also capable to installs the latest EMUI 12, which is very identical to HarmonyOS OS.

However, the EMUI 12 eligible device list doesn’t contain this Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone. But, according to our information, EMUI 12 beta for this phone is about to start.
