Huawei P30 Pro receiving DC Dimming, fingerprint, and camera improvements [EMUI 9.1.0.178]

Huawei P30 Pro is currently receiving the EMUI 9.1.0.178 updates that include some important features including DC Dimming and Bluetooth audio stability improvements.

What is DC Dimming?

It helps reduce eye strain and is slowly rolling out to more devices that use AMOLED panels across the entire smartphone market.

There is also a new ultra-low latency Bluetooth update that helps reduce the delay in audio sending from the device directly to your connected headsets and speakers. The update is also said to improve the speed and consistency of the in-display fingerprint reader.

It is also adding the ability to add a second face to the face-unlocking feature. The latest update improves photo quality, making colors appear more natural and authentic.

This latest update fixes the abnormal display of videos recorded by the front camera. The update now allows messages and notifications to display on a locked screen with live wallpaper.

It also fixes the issue where the screen does not turn off automatically in certain scenarios. Optimizes system stability, for smoother overall performance.
