Huawei P30 Lite with EMUI 12 grabs September 2022 update
Huawei P30 Lite is still roaring among consumers, as the company is now sending a new software update for the smartphone with September 2022 EMUI security patch.
Huawei is rolling you September 2022 security update for the P30 Lite smartphone that comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.239. However, you should know that it’s an initial rollout and it may take some time to reach your P30 lite unit.
As the version confirmed, this rollout is only applicable to smartphones with EMUI 12 software. However, some of the users still haven’t got the latest EMUI software ability due to limited availability or under expansion approach.
EMUI 12 comes with lots of new features and a new user interface, if you get this upgrade on your phone, do make sure to download it right away.
We also want to inform you that EMUI 12 is still expanding for the oldest models such as Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series in the global market. Meanwhile, the approach towards EMUI 13 upgrade is picking pace.
If you don’t want to wait to get a notification, make sure to check the firmware update manually on your Huawei P30 lite smartphone. To do so, visit Settings of your device, scroll down and tap on System & updates, from here you can tap and enter Software updates. Tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES on the bottom side to investigate a new firmware version.
Once began, it’ll take a few moments to fetch server information. If an update is available, the system will initiate the download procedure. However, you can also request the latest software push via the My Huawei app, the procedure is very simple, just head to the application, find the update section and the rest of the procedure is similar to the one mentioned above.
Finally, there are a few things that you should keep in mind before upgrading to September 2022 Huawei P30 Lite software update. Maintain enough storage to store the OTA package, the download procedure may take some time and charge up your device above 50 percent.
