Huawei’s P30 series is rumored to bring some impressive hardware, design, and a curved display. A new report suggests the Huawei P30 series will feature a redesigned front. Both the phones will come with the OLED display and will sport an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Additionally, the P30 Pro will reportedly come equipped with a periscope-style rear camera setup to facilitate optical zoom, which has the benefit of lossless image magnification.
The Huawei P20 will feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel while the P30 Pro will go up to the 6.5-inch display. They will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM on the P30 and 12GB of RAM on the P30 Pro.
The P30 Pro will consist of a 38-megapixel Sony IMX607 image sensor with Dual Bayer technology and three-speed native sensitivity with ISO 50/ 500/ 5000.
Charging is reportedly kept at 22.5W instead of adopting the 40W charging of the Mate 20 Pro. The non-Pro model will have a 3.5mm headphone jack too.
