Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are packed with the most powerful night mode rear camera feature, powered by advanced AI algorithms that capture the images even in the darkest environment and this feature is now rolling out for the selfie camera of both of these flagships.

Here’s the list of eligible devices that will get the EMUI 10/Android 10 Q [Updated]

The new update for P30 duo brings Night Mode for the front camera, users will be able to click night-time selfies with more light. The update also adds a new video editing feature, enhances fingerprint recognition, and installs August 2019 security patch.

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro receiving this update with EMUI version 9.1.0.193. The update is currently rolling out in China and will soon be expanded to more countries.

Note: This version is pushed in batches. The EMUI versions and update size may vary depending on the market and models.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the Checkbox and hit Apply.

Huawei has started to rollout a new software update for the global users of Huawei P10 Plus. According to the information, the latest Huawei P10 Plus major software update comes with EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.287 and an update package size of 579 megabytes This update has different aspects and we’ll going explore them below. (reports – Huaweiblog)

The changelog reveals that this update has May 2021 security patch, new system optimizations for better system performance as well as new system applications including Petal Search, Books, GameCenter, and Browser. Additionally, the software package for the Huawei P10 Plus brings new apps shortcuts that you download and install.

To be mentioned, the Huawei P10 series along with Huawei Mate 9 is currently testing HarmonyOS in China. Important Notes:

This update won’t erase your data but you are recommended to install the latest update after taking a backup of the important files. Thereafter, ensure that you have a sufficient amount of space to place the downloaded package. Furthermore, keep your phone charged up above 50% before initiating the update procedure.

Download via Settings:

Huawei has initiated the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.209 version update for 14 of its popular flagship models coming from the Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series. These phones are running HarmonyOS in China and currently receiving continuous software support in order to provide a better user experience.

According to the changelog, the latest update for the 14 Huawei models comes with major HarmonyOS features that have been first installed on top recent smartphones – Mate 40, P40, and Mate 30 series. However, now the company is seeding these to all of the available HarmonyOS devices.

Check the adapted models below as well as the full feature changelog. One thing to note is that the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G model getting a removal of 5G switch access from the control panel’s quick settings options However, the latest development has already been made on the request of a new Chinese telecom policy. Service Center: Adds Service combos to the Discover tab in Service Center (which you can access by swiping up from the bottom corner edges of the screen), allowing you to add service combos to the home screen to use scenario-specific widgets.

Task Center: Adds the multi-device task management feature to Task Center, allowing you to view, manage, and transfer previous tasks from other devices that support Task Center, are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and are logged in to the same HUAWEI ID. You can access Task Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and holding it.

Service Widgets: Adds the people album service widget (you can add it to your home screen by swiping up on the Gallery app icon) which loops photos of the person you select. Touch the avatar in the top corner to switch to another person, or touch a photo to open the album of the selected person.

System: Improves the user experience with basic operations, including touch and volume control, and adds support for enlarging home screen icons.
