Huawei P20 and P20 Pro on EMUI 10 receiving July security update

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro devices currently receiving EMUI 10 around the globe and it’s currently under expansion. Meanwhile, P20 devices that have already upgraded with the EMUI 10, now getting a new security patch.

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro on EMUI 10 receiving a new update with security patches released in July 2020. Moreover, users who’ve not upgraded to the EMUI 10, will receive it as the rollout expands to more markets.

CHANGELOG For Huawei P20 series update:

Security: Integrated Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security.

The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

EMUI VERSION:

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro on EMUI 10.0 receiving the latest security update with EMUI 10.0.0.175/176 upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.172. This update is rolling out in China and may expand to devices users in the global market.
