August 2020 security update starts to rollout for Huawei P40 series

Huawei has now begun pushing the August 2020 security update for the Huawei P40 series phones and it’s not rolling out in China. Instead, it’s released first in Europe.

Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus device users in Europe receiving Android security patch released in August 2020. It brings security patches from Huawei fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.
