It seems like Huawei has really started to move on from EMUI 10/Android 10 update because the company has recently begun sending the latest security updates for one of its older flagships after upgrading to EMUI 10.

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro running EMUI 10 in China receiving a new update, which brings January security enhancements, optimization to audio, system, and fixes for display. (Changelog Below)

The January 2020 security patch provides fixes to 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the recent build.

Version:

This new update for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.156.

Global Versions:

Huawei will launch EMUI 10 for the global version of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro starting this month and will expand this upgrade in batches for different regions/countries.

Optimizes system performance.

Fixes issues with some apps shortcut display behavior in certain situations.
