Huawei P20 and P20 Pro already getting a new EMUI 9.0 with May 2019 security patch

Well, this is May 1, 2019, and a new software update is here already.

Yesterday, Huawei released the security patch details of May 2019. Now, the company has started to rollout a new EMUI 9.0 software update for the Huawei P20 series and it brings security update including patches from Google and Huawei.

The security updates for Huawei devices includes CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) announced in the May 2019 Android security bulletin.

The latest update is currently available for the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro in China, but it will soon be available globally. The latest software update has a software version EMUI 9.0.0.187. You can read more details below:

Huawei P20 EML-AL00
Huawei P20 EML-TL00
Huawei P20 Pro CLT-AL00, CLT-AL01, CLT-AL00l
Huawei P20 Pro CLT-TL00, CLT-TL01
