Huawei P Smart+ 2019 began collecting February 2021 security improvements



Huawei has started sending a new software update for P Smart+ 2019. This update mainly brings February 2021 security improvements, which fixes different levels of exploit and issues to protect your device against threats.

EMUI version: Huawei P smart+ 2019 smartphone receiving EMUI version with an update size of 115MB.

According to the latest changelog, this security update fixes 2 critical and 26 high levels, and 77 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

About phone:

Huawei P Smart+ 2019 launched pre-installed with EMUI 9.0 and further received EMUI 9.1 and EMUI 10 major upgrades that provide the new user interface. But, this model is not able to grab EMUI 10.1 and above upgrades.

February 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical and 26 high levels, and 77 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Check for update:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
