Huawei Nova 9 receives August 2022 optimization update

Huawei is sending the August 2022 system optimization update for the Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro users. The update has come over the HarmonyOS operating system.  Along with this, it optimizes the overall system by fixing the bugs and issues in the previous software.

The Huawei Nova 9 series has just received the July 2022 security patch update in the global market and now the August 2022 optimization update has arrived to it.

Certainly, if you have a Huawei Nova 9 series smartphone running over the HarmonyOS 2.0.1.241 build version,  then you can grab the update as HarmonyOS 2.0.1.262 build version.

Meanwhile, the optimization update aims to improve the overall security and stability of the system. It fixes various flaws in the system.  Further, the August 2022 optimization update has no new improvements except the advanced system security.

As of the information, the August 2022 optimization update in the Huawei Nova 9 series fixes the vulnerabilities in the levels of each section. Including, 4 CVEs from the framework section, 1 CVE from the kernel section, 1 CVE from the system section, 5 CVEs from the application section, and 7 CVEs from the third-party section to provide a bug-free experience.

Now is the time, to update your compatible Nova 9 and Nova 9 pro smartphones over the August 2022 optimization update.

The update may not erase your data. Yet, it is recommended to take a backup of your data before upgrading.   • Tap on the Software Updates
