Huawei Nova 12i equips EMUI 14, 108MP main camera, 5000mAh battery, and more

Huawei has now listed the Nova 12i smartphone on its official global website and revealed the key specifications which count a 108MP main camera, a jumbo 5000mAh battery, and the most-awaited operating system – the EMUI 14.

So without any further ados, let’s check out the new Huawei Nova 12i.

Specifications:

Huawei Nova 12i has a measurement of 163.3mm x 74.7mm x 8.4mm. It weighs around 199 grams. The device appears in a shiny outlook with a giant circular camera module at the rear end, placed at the top center, and offers a dynamic layout.

Starting with the screen, the Nova 12i features a 6.7-inch OLED panel with an FHD+ (1080 x 2388 pixels) resolution and a 1-90Hz adaptive high dynamic refresh rate. It further supports 16.7 million colors and a 270Hz touch sampling rate.

Notably, the device has the AOD facility that brings you essentials or what you need at a glance including time, incoming calls, and certain app notifications.

Huawei Nova 12i packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with a CPU infrastructure of 4 × Cortex-A73 Based 2.4 GHz + 4 × Cortex-A53 Based 1.9 GHz and Adreno 610 GPU. The processor is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

Concerning the camera, the Huawei Nova 12i features a 108MP portrait main camera (f/1.9 aperture) and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture) that ensures clicking the best pictures with vibrant skin and vivid facial effects. At the same time, you can capture beautiful images even under darkness.

Meanwhile, the front face has an 8MP selfie snapper (f/2.0 aperture) which results in stunning clarity and natural beauty. It also supports various shooting modes.

Ahead, the device installs a 5000mAh battery with a 40W superfast charging facility. This charging feature rockets the power to 62% within 30 minutes. There is also a fingerprint feature that enrolls your print in one fluid motion via the power tab.

EMUI 14 – the power house!

Let’s not forget the star of the show – EMUI 14 which brings captivating emoji wallpapers, the live window for quick updates on your apps, and the SuperHub 2.0 which enables you to drag and drop your files or transfer them among multiple devices.

Other features include dual SIM, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN frequencies, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C (USB 2.0), NFC, GPS (L1) Beidou, Galileo (E1), Glonass, QZSS (L1), AGPS, gravity sensors, side-mounted fingerprint, ambient light sensor, as well as a compass.
