On May 19, Huawei unveiled its latest set of smart products that comes with new features as well as a range of hardware capabilities. However, there are two new Mate series products that are brand new and stole the spotlight of the event.

Yes, we’re talking about the Huawei MateView 28.2 professional monitor, with high image quality as well as a design that goes on all corners with low bezels to increase the viewing experience at its peak.

Huawei MateView Specifications:

Huawei MateView monitor comes with a 28.2-inch LCD display size and 3:2 screen ratio, 4K+ resolution (3840 x 2560), 98% DCI-P3 screen color, 178-degree viewing angles, 1200:1 contrast, 164 PPI, 60Hz refresh rate, 500 nites brightness, and also has low blue light and no flicker technologies to save user’s eyes.

The monitor supports Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and 5GHz working frequency, Bluetooth 5.1, and one HDMI 2.0 interface.

The MateView monitor has 135W USB-C power adapter, has inbuilt 2 speakers, 2 microphone that supports 4m far-field pickup.

Talking about its input out, the Huawei MateView has a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combo interface that supports OMTP (National Standard), CTIA (American Standard). Also, there’s one USB-C port for power supply outputs.

This 28.2-inch display size monitor comes expands at 608.35mm x 591.12mm x 182mm and has about 6.2kg in overall weight.

Huawei MateView Price and Availability :

Huawei MateView comes in two version – Wired projection and Wireless Projection:

Huawei MateView Wired Projection version is priced at 3999 yuan (620 USD)

Huawei MateView Wireless Projection version is priced at 4699 yuan (730 USD)

Currently, only Wireless Projection version is available to pre-order and it’s first sale will start on June 1, 2021 in China.
