Huawei today announced that a new launch conference will happen on November 28 and the company will introduce a new Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch 2024 tablet.

The appearance of the tablet is very much identical to the past 2023 version of the MatePad Pro 11. The tablet has a punch-hole screen, the bezels are slim and it has a green color scheme, which is familiar to the Huawei Mate 60 series users. The rear camera is also similar to the past model but there seems to be a tiny bit of polishing.

For now, Huawei has only shared the appearance of this upcoming tablet device but we can still look at the predecessor and what it had for the consumers.

Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch equipped 11-inch OLED display with 120hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for fast interactions. The screen offers a WQXGA resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) with 274 PPI.

The screen also boasts 1.07 billion colors with a P3 wide color gamut and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Overall, the screen offers a full-view experience with slim bezels on all corners.

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm 888 and 870 chipset platforms for two different models. Both of these devices were launched after Huawei changed the chipset resourcing completely to the US chipset maker. However, we don’t have input on whether the new MatePad Pro 11 2024 version will carry an in-house Kirin 5G chipset.

The past version is featured with HarmonyOS 3 operating system but the new one will run HarmonyOS 4 out of the box.

The rear side has beautiful color options of Blue, White, Black, and Brocade white. There’s a round camera bump, which consists of a 13MP f/1.8 aperture main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Inside the front punch hole, the tablet houses a 16MP selfie camera to help you perform conference calls and video chats. In terms of battery, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 packs a large 8300mAh battery, which could recharge with a 66W superfast wired charger.

There could be more that is waiting at the launch of Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 on November 28.
