Huawei MatePad Air is the first Huawei tablet with a super large 8300mAh battery and it’s the industry’s first with UFCS fast charging. This new device was introduced during Summer 2023 Conference in China on May 18th.

According to the official information, Device Fast Charging Industry Association has revealed that Huawei MatePad Air has passed the UFCS integrated fast charging certification. The Huawei Matepad Air is also the industry’s first tablet with the support of UFCS-integrated fast charging. Actually, the users can recharge this giant tablet with a 40W super fast charger.

Huawei MatePad Air:

This new tablet packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. Other than the aspect ratio, the screen-to-body ratio is 87% around that 11.5-inch screen and 2800×1840 pixels resolution.

The display ensures smoother graphics via a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR Vivid. It has a pre-installed HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system. Therefore, it equips the PC app engine, users can use PC-level WPS Office and PC-level CAJViewer apps.

As of today, a total of 8 Huawei devices took a grant from UFCS fusion fast charging certification. Three of these are charging devices (mobile phones and tablets), and five are power supply devices (chargers and car chargers).

the UFCS standard has been released and commanded by the Green Energy Working Group (WG10). The WG10 is formed by Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and the Institute of Information and Communications Technology.
