Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch S enters Geekbench, suspected to run on Kirin 9000W
Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch S has now visited Geekbench ahead of its China launch and gave some hints about its mysterious chipset. While the OEM already unveiled the device for global users, it didn’t mention its processor details on the official website.
Geekbench listing shows that the Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch S appeared on the database with the model number TGR-W09. It has effectively scored 1252 points in the single-core testing and obtained 3396 points in the multi-core testing results.
The information further reveals that the device runs on 8GB RAM and an octa-core chipset. Again, the processor’s name is currently under the hood. Although the frequencies and the overall core arrangement clues that it could be the Kirin 9000W.
Here is the CPU configuration:
- 4 cores @ 1.53GHz
- 3 cores @ 2.15GHz
- 1 core @ 2.49GHz
The core alignment is similar to the one that we found in the MatePad Pro 13.2 global unit. Hence we can expect that the arriving tablet is running on Kirin 9000W chip.

Note that the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 and the standard Pura 70 (Kirin 9000S1) also use the same chip parameters. It is paired with the self-developed Maleoon 910 GPU. It would be worth seeing if the OEM mentions the device’s chip at the event or not.
Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch S – China Launch
The tech giant is ready to showcase the new tablet to its Chinese consumers this afternoon. It has already stepped into the global market and could arrive in three models in China. Things will get more clear at the Summer 2024 launch conference.
Apart from the new MatePad tablet, other devices that the company will keep on the Chinese consumer platform include new variants for FreeClip, MatePro 13.2, FreeBuds 6i, new Watch GT 4 variants (expected), and more.
