Huawei’s latest foldable smartphone – Huawei Mate Xs will be available in Malaysia from next month. It’ll be the first 5G foldable phone that will enter in the country.

The Huawei Mate Xs will be available in Malaysia starting March 20, 2020, onwards in an exclusive partnership with Bonia, Malaysia Airlines, CIMB, and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Huawei Mate Xs is priced at 2499 Euros but its Malaysia price is yet to be announced.

The new Huawei Mate Xs features an improved Falcon Wing design that enables this device to transform between smartphone and tablet modes.

Furthermore, upgrades have also been made on the handset’s display materials with 3 layer display compared to its predecessor Huawei Mate X.

Equipped with Huawei’s self-developed flagship 5G SoC Kirin 990 5G, the Huawei Mate Xs comes with improved mobile AI and 5G communications capabilities.

The Leica SuperSensing Quad Camera featured on the HUAWEI Mate Xs. Comprised of a 40MP SuperSensing camera, a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 3D Depth Sensing Camera, and plays both front and rear cameras to support a wide range of photographic use cases.

From the software side, Huawei Mate Xs comes with EMUI 10.0.1 as well as Huawei AppGallery and supports Multi-Window apps for the smarter experience.
