Huawei has launched its long-awaited and reinvented foldable smartphone – Huawei Mate X and soon this smartphone will start to go on sale among consumers in China.

Since we’ve already discussed Huawei Mate Xs specs in a dedicated article, it’s time to discuss its price comparison with the European version that was announced earlier this year.

Huawei Mate X with 8GB RAM + 512GB storage version priced at CNY 16999 ( 2160 EUR) compared to 2299 EUR (18,080 CNY) for the same specs of Mate X announced for the European.

The price difference between both versions comes at only around 1000 yuan (120 EUR), which we’ve expected a bit more than the official announcement.

Huawei Mate X (5G) will be available for reservations on October 23 and the first sale is scheduled on via Vmall and all major online platforms. Also, the company will launch a Kirin 990 (5G) powered Huawei Mate Xs in March 2020.

Still, Huawei has not announced the launch date of this foldable smartphone for the European market and now when the device is officially launched, we can also expect it to expand in other markets.
