Huawei Nova 6 (5G) codename, model and more revealed in new information

It was previously reported that Huawei Nova 6 series will include a 5G variant and this smartphone has been allegedly certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT), revealing a few new information.

According to the listing, the phone comes with a model number – WLZ-AN00, certified on October 10, 2019, and supports multi-connectivity including 4G and 5G.

A well-known tipster from Weibo suggested that Huawei Nova 6 is codenamed as “Waltz”, while its specs remain confidential.

Also, several other similar models were certified by Bluetooth SIG including WLZ-TL10, WLZ-AL10, WLZ-L29, WLZ-AN10, WLZ-N29 and more.

It’s expected that Huawei Nova 6 will be powered by Kirin 990 (5G) SoC and can pick a launch date in December this year following the Honor V30 (5G) launch in the next month. However, Huawei is yet to confirm its stand about this smartphone.
