Huawei Mate 70 series to follow P70 screen sizes but improved camera system
Huawei is busy in the new products launch week while a new input adds more insights to the Mate 70 series screen and camera aspects. To some extent, the upcoming Mate models could follow the alleged P70 series display sizes and camera solutions.
Tipster @SmartPikachu says that the Huawei Mate 70 series will opt for small and large screen sizes, just like the P70 lineup. Going into flashbacks, a few rumors depicted that the next P-tagged phone may use two different screen sizes – 6.58 and 6.80 inches.

Improved Camera System
Another theory in the leak is regarding the Mate 70 series upgraded lens system. The blogger says that Huawei seems to follow the same imaging strategy of OmniVision + Sony camera sensors for its approaching Mate models as the P70 smartphones.
Previous inputs revealed that the company has been testing Sony IMX 989 as well as OmniVision OV50H 1-inch camera sensors for the P70 flagship. The former may show up with the Art variant whereas, the latter could appear with base and Pro models.
Huawei probably seems to repeat these terms for the Mate 70 lineup, but this time with some better improvements, more powerful camera sensors, and functions.
The Mate 70 models are tipped to sport a triple-lens arrangement at the back with a new OV50K main camera sensor. Although this could appear in one of the models from the series. Other rumors say that the tech giant could pick customized main camera sensors built by Howe and already ordered them on a large scale.
Another one hints that the OEM may add a 1-inch large variable aperture camera fused with a hybrid lens. Things are currently swirling in rumors and we need to wait till the second half of this year to obtain clear details.
