Huawei Mate 70 series might feature new 5G+ network technology

Huawei is working on several new 5G+ network solutions these days and the company could use this advanced technology for the Mate 70 series. If true, this pursuit will make the next Mate lineup a strong opponent for the iPhone 16.

Tipster @SmartPikachu predicts that the Huawei Mate 70 series may use a new 5G+ network technology. The Chinese tech giant is exploring various network facilities and if possible, the company might impose one of them on upcoming models.

It is quite unclear whether the Huawei Mate 70 phones will adopt the 5.5G network or use some other solutions. Yet, it seems the company is planning major networking upgrades for its next-gen flagship handsets and the results would soon be visible.

Earlier, a few rumors cited that the Chinese OEM plans to introduce the 5.5G network technology for its smartphones. Huawei has not confirmed the news so far. Although new unveiling in network tech segments hints at high probability on this subject.

The company’s strong comeback in the smartphone world with 5G Kirin chips has raised new excitement among consumers. Perhaps, favorable conditions might enable Huawei to bring major changes in its phone innovations. Though a confirmation still awaits on this topic.

iPhone 16 Pro in this race?

Apart from Huawei, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro handset is spinning in rumors to obtain faster internet access via the Snapdragon X75 modem. The respective chipset is capable of boasting a download speed of up to 7.5Gbps.

Huawei 5.5G Network:

Also known as 5G Advanced, the technology can achieve 10Gbps downlink and 1Gbps uplink. It accompanies a 10-fold improvement in network performance and offers accelerated network services to both operators and consumers.
