Huawei Mate 50 series to launch by the end of August
Huawei has finalized the launch date for the Mate 50 series launch event and it could happen by the end of August, suggest a Weibo tipster. So far, Huawei has not published the launch date for this flagship on the official channels but we could expect the warm-up to start next month.
According to the Weibo tipster, Huawei has decided to push Mate 50 series launch by the end of August and it’ll be packed with new technologies including bringing a new camera imaging system. The phone is also one of the first to pre-install the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system and will be promoted alongside.
Furthermore, the Chinese tech maker has improved this upcoming flagship with new technologies better than the last year’s Huawei P50 series. That’s not it, the tipster suggests that the supply chain for the Huawei Mate 50 series is better and we expect the company to fill in enough device stock for all of the market’s requirements.
Aside from these, the tipster has not revealed any further information about the specs of the smartphone or its appearance but current leaks are far from sufficient.

3C certified a new SOYEA Technology device with model SY108-698. The company for this device is well known for its 5G case designed for the Huawei P50 and Mate 50 series. And SY108-698 is likely to be the case for the upcoming Huawei P60 series.
However, we need to know more information about this case, as there are no confirmations available about its launch. Still, we can wait as the Huawei P60 series will require a 5G case in order to provide a 5G experience.
