Huawei Mate 50 Pro could launch in October. Yes, that’s one of the biggest news that just dropped in and it’s amazing. By looking at the upcoming schedule, the company could unveil this flagship at the New Product Launch Conference on October 21 in Vienna, Austria.
According to David Naranjo, Senior Director at Display Supply Chain Consultant, the Mate 50 Pro is currently is in the pipeline of the upcoming Huawei devices. David has shared a roadmap consisting of 20 models that have a 120Hz refresh rate display and there are also models that will launch soon.
The list also includes the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, which is quite shocking. Interestingly, the phone is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2021. Furthermore, David also suggests that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro could come at a Huawei event in October.
This is quite amusing and the ongoing Huawei showcase has Nova 9 on September 23 in China. So, there’s only one global event that is set for October 21. Therefore, it could be the only slot that the Chinese tech giant may use to introduce the Huawei Mate 50 Pro.
Huawei Just launched P50, how come Mate 50?
Yes, it’s true, Huawei P50 Pro debut on July 29 and there’s only a month went by since its initial unveiling but the reality is that the phone is exclusive for the Chinese market. This is caused by the shortage of key components required for the development of new devices.
Still, we don’t have any insights into what Huawei really planning with the launch of its new devices but we’re well aware that it’ll be fun to watch the upcoming launch event because it’s for global consumers.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro:
Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any official confirmation on the launch of Mate 50 Pro but previous reports have some information that you should know about.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro is likely to carry the same camera system as the Huawei P50 Pro featuring a dual ring camera design. However, the dual camera is now placed under a large circular camera bump. To be mentioned, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon processor and there will also be a Kirin model.

Huawei P50 Pocket 512GB storage model launched
Huawei announced the launch of the all-new 8GB+512GB version of the Huawei P50 Pocket which has a price tag of 9988 yuan. The latest model in the series adds an extra storage option to expand the phone’s current capacity. Huawei P50 Pocket was previously marketed with two memory versions:
- Huawei P50 Pocket 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at 8988 yuan
- Huawei P50 Pocket 12GB RAM + 512GB storage at 10988 yuan
The phone sells in two color options including white and gold versions.

Huawei P50 Pocket is a unique foldable smartphone that has various new features and it flips vertically rather than side-folding design mechanism.
