Huawei Mate 40 Pro kicks off June 2023 EMUI update rollout
Huawei has begun delivering the first June 2023 security update for EMUI 12 powered Huawei Mate 40 Pro globally. The software rollout comes as the company prepares to release EMUI 13 this month.
According to the information, Huawei Mate 40 Pro is receiving June 2023 update with EMUI version 12.0.0.388. Users of this excellent flagship can download a package size of 317 megabytes. However, it may vary slightly depending on the country or the region.
However, there are no other changes noted in the changelog for the time being.
June 2023 security bulletin reveals that Huawei has fixed various issues in the EMUI 12 software system including 9 critical, and 1 medium-level of vulnerability exposures. The fixes also count over 14 vulnerabilities from the past month’s security rollouts.

Once available the phone will start downloading a new package and it may take some time depending on the internet connection. once downloaded the phone will restart. Note that the OTA package will be deleted after installation.
