Huawei Mate 40 Pro appears in a protective case

Huawei Mate 40 Pro is now allegedly spotted inside a flip-type protective case with a different opening. The image shows this Mate series phone with a big waterfall display, a speaker grill on top alongside a number of holes for different sensors.

According to a tipster from Weibo, the Huawei Mate 40 series includes at least two variants with large curved edge displays. Compared to the Mate 30 Pro, while the Mate 40 series retains the volume keys and there’s a power button painted in red color.

A previous report reveals that both standard Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro sports with the curved display but the Mate 40 Pro is bigger than the Mate 40 and similar to the Mate 30 Pro. Moreover, the curves of Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ will be bigger than the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro will come with a pill-type punch-hole display with a waterfall curved. The phone has a volume rocker and a power key in red color, as well as symmetrical dual speakers.

Huawei Mate 40 will feature a 6.5-inch OLED, and Mate 40 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch waterfall OLED display. Huawei Mate 40 series will be powered by 5nm Kirin 9000 processor, pre-equipped with EMUI 11. Currently, Huawei has not announced its launch date but it could happen in October this year.
