Huawei Mate 10 series users are getting EMUI 9.1 update in Europe

Huawei is rolling out EMUI 9.1 software update to Huawei Mate 10 series. The EMUI 9.1 is built on top of Android 9 Pie and installs new user-friendly interface, new UI design, features including GPU Turbo 3.0, EROFS file system, Huawei Vlog, AI Assitant and many more. Also, the update comes with the latest July 2019 security patch.

This update is currently rolling out in Europe and will be available in other regions very soon – expected to come between July 30 to August 7.

Note: The EMUI versions and update size may vary depending on the market and models.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the checkbox and hit Apply.
