Huawei Maimang 9 5G with 64MP triple camera launched, starts at $314

On July 27, Huawei unveiled its 2020’s China-exclusive Maimang device – Huawei Maimang 9. This new phone offers 5G connectivity, 64MP AI triple camera setup, and more.

Let’s take a look at the Huawei Maimang 9 in detail.

Huawei Maimang 9 sports a 6.8-inch display with FHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution, 90.33% screen to the body ratio, and punch-hole design. The phone expands at 170 × 78.5 × 8.9 (mm) and weighs 212g and includes a side fingerprint scanner.

It comes with a triple rear camera system including a 64MP f/1.89 aperture main camera + 8MP f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide-angle camera + 2MP f/2.4 aperture depth camera. On the front side, it has a 16MP f/2.4 aperture selfie camera.

This phone equips 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G chipset. The phone has 6GB/8GB RAM options and a 128GB storage variant (Supports expansion up to 256GB).

The Maimang 9 packs a 4300mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. The phone runs the latest EMUI 10.1 (Android 10). On the backside, the phone equips mixed gradient finishes in Night Black, Cherry Snow, and Beautiful Forest color options.

  • Huawei Maimang 9 (6+128GB) priced at 2199 yuan ($314)
  • Huawei Maimang 9 (8+128GB) priced at 2399 yuan ($342)

The Pre-order of Huawei Maimang 9 will start on July 27 and the first sale on August 7 in China.
