Today, Huawei launched its new Petal travel quick app in China, the quick will help users to get a taxi in the country. According to the information, Huawei Petal Travel is partnered with high-quality Chinese car-hailing suppliers to provide you better travel experience.

Currently, Petal Travel is available in limited Chinese markets including Beijing, Shenzhen, and Nanjing. On the flip side, the Chinese tech maker has promised to increase the number of supported places by the end of this year.

To use this service, a user needs to connect to the internet, and there is some device permission that is required to fetch geolocation data as well as ongoing payment with the taxi carrier. The app description shows that Petal Travel has deep integration with Petal Maps and uses it for travel guidance.

A quick app doesn’t need to install as a standard version of the app. It doesn’t take up much space in the internal storage, which makes it lightweight and provides high performance.

However, the Petal Travel app is currently under public beta testing and its final release is yet to come. Meanwhile, interested Huawei users can download this app via the Beta testers app on smartphones.

The beta listing of the app reveals that the company has tested this app with version 2.3.0.220 and the app size is 73kb.
