Huawei kicks off HarmonyOS 4.0 stable rollout for these 20 devices
Huawei has finally announced the stable HarmonyOS 4.0 upgrade for 20 old devices including P30 handsets, Mate 20 series, and a few Honor models. The respective phone holders will start receiving a big bunch of interesting features in the coming days.
The Chinese tech giant shared the HarmonyOS 4.0 stable rollout details on the official ‘My Huawei’ page on Weibo. Elaborating on the eligible models, the company has highlighted a few wearables that are ready to taste the flavor of new software.
“HarmonyOS 4 upgrade welcomes new progress! P30, Watch GT 3 series, and other 20 products will be upgraded to the official version of HarmonyOS 4 from now on. Interested friends please stay tuned to participate.” – wrote Huawei.
This simply means that users don’t have to participate in any beta tests and can directly obtain the new upgrade via the OTA method. You can even check out the Settings app > System and Updates > Software Update to install the firmware manually.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei Watch Ultimate and Watch Ultimate Design will fetch the stable upgrade from mid-to-late March. Note that these updates roll out in batches and may take some time to cover all the compatible units in the region.
