Huawei is rolling out important EMUI patch, prep for EMUI 13?
In the past week, we’ve noted that a number of Huawei smartphones received a new EMUI patch in the global market, we suspect that this could be a preparation for EMUI 13 testing.
According to the information, the latest Huawei EMUI patch brings improvements to the user experience with some apps. Unlike any other rollout, this small patch doesn’t contain the EMUI version due to the small package size.
Yeah, such updates are key to improving user experience and providing stability before the device changes the software. We’ve also seen that Huawei is fetching this patch after October 2022 EMUI security.
Furthermore, the patch is currently rolling out for top-tier devices such as Huawei P50 Pro, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, and others. While it could expand to more models soon.
EMUI 13 brings you a brand-new user experience that is designed to enhance the Huawei phone’s performance with capabilities such as app swipe up gestures, app widgets, control panel, and notification panel. In addition, EMUI 13 now ships with a new Super Device feature for global users.
On the other hand, the user interface has been refined to better out of EMUI 12. Meanwhile, the smart large folder feature allows you to manage all of your phone’s home screen with new layouts. There are also some minor tweaks made to the animation section.
So, the latest Huawei EMUI patch rollout is an important preparation ahead of EMUI 13 testing? The answer is “unconfirmed” because Huawei hasn’t shared a roadmap or exact test date for beta testing.
