Huawei HiCar is getting a new 13.2.0.430 upgrade and it brings new optimizations for recent apps. This version also improves display quality as good fixes some known issues.

Looking at the changelog, we found that the latest HiCar version has a new app improvement in the [More Applications] section. This verifies if there are any apps you like. However, you should know that the “More Apps” feature requires HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system and a touchscreen car with eligible screen height.

Adding to this, the recent apps in the dock area will now open more quickly. Whenever you connect the HiCar, the app dock will pop up the phone icon by default. It will also show more apps or the recently used app after you chose to expand the installed applications.

To further relate the user experience, Huawei has optimized the screen for dark and light modes for some inbuilt apps. Moreover, the new upgrade will bring fixes for some known issues. Huawei is prioritizing the HiCare upgrades and the company keeps on pushing a new version of the car screen software system.

All you need to do is to open the Huawei AppGallery and search for the Huawei HiCare app. Users who already have this app need to check for the firmware on the settings page and download it right away.

You should know that the latest software update for the Huawei HiCar version is released in batches and may take some time to reach all models. However, it may vary depending on the car model.

Huawei HiCar 13.2.0.430 is an important rollout and it aims toward better efficiency for the smart screen system. However, last month, Huawei released the 13.2.0.420 version with features to adjust the car screen resolution and ratio.
