Huawei gains 10 fold 5G uplink rate beyond 3Gbps
Despite challenges, Huawei is achieving high 5G including the latest 10 fold uplink speed than traditional 5G. The latest announcement came during the 10th China Mobile Global Partner Conference, China Mobile released the 5G-Advanced “Innovation Chain-Industrial Chain” Dual-chain Convergence Action Plan Yearbook (2022 Edition). Huawei participated in this release event as the only representative of telecom equipment vendors.
In 2022, Huawei is working on a dual-chain integration action plan. Therefore, the Chinese tech maker is working with its partners such as China Mobile to gain new efficiency.
This includes innovative in-depth cooperation production of multiple phased results and contribution of 25 out of 79 yearbook results, ranking first among all partners.
As mentioned by Huawei, the guidance of the dual-chain fusion action plan, the first batch of 5G 5G-A end-to-end industry models including:
1. Based on X-layer cross-layer integration technology, the collaborative innovation of four-dimensional integration of device-network-cloud-industry, with the help of service label information perception and network status information perception, achieves fine-level QoS guarantee for XR services and increases the number of users with satisfactory experience 5 times.
2. The SUL-based dual-carrier UDD is the first in the industry to achieve a cell uplink peak rate exceeding 3Gbps through 50MHz SUL+100MHz TDD, attributing Huawei to achieve 10 fold 5G rate increase.
3. Jointly completed the test of eIoT cellular Internet of Things (ie passive Internet of Things) technology prototype, achieving a coverage distance of more than 200 meters for the first time in the industry, which is more than 20 times higher than that of traditional RFID technology.
4. Work together to create a model of synaesthesia fusion, and realize real-time tracking of vehicle trajectories by deploying communication-sensing integrated base stations. Under the requirements of sub-meter precision, the perception distance exceeds 800 meters for the first time.
