Huawei is expanding the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 556 public beta version in China after receiving a good response from consumers. According to Huawei, the registration for Huawei FreeBuds Pro 556 version was started on January 10 and opened till January 16, 2022, in China.

After the conclusion of the registration process, Huawei will push the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 556 update on January 18 and later. To be mentioned, Huawei is releasing the public beta version to users registered on weekly basis. On January 4, a batch of Huawei FreeBuds Pro users has already grabbed this update, who have registered between December 27, 2021, to January 2, 2022.

  • Open the Huawei Member Center app
  • Tap Experience Officer
  • Open Activity page
  • Select “Huawei FreeBuds Pro 556 version public beta activity”
  • Click on Accept
  • Tap on Register Now

According to Huawei, some Huawei FreeBuds Pro users from the first phase of testing reported the major issue identified caused by severe blockage of the headphone mesh, and the blockage of the mesh will also affect the noise reduction effect of the headphones.

Huawei responded that for your best headphone experience, it is recommended that you clean the headphone mesh once a week. If necessary, you can also visit an offline Huawei service store for cleaning that helps improve the headphone noise reduction and sound quality experience.
