The 13MP dual camera phone- Huawei Enjoy 20e is receiving the August 2022 HarmonyOS update. This is a good step for the company toward the security perspective of this old budget-friendly handset.

According to the information, the August 2022 security update on the phone comes on the HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.115. However, the users need the baseline version 2.0.0.113 to upgrade.

The August 2022 security patch in the Huawei Enjoy 20e phone comes with several fixes for the security flaws in the system and allows users to safely keep all the device’s data.

To recall, Enjoy 20e was launched in October 2021 with the EMUI 10.1 base. The device then came with a new High-end version with HarmonyOS 2.0 software after a few months.

The phone is powered by a Kirin 710A processor, with 128GB + 6GB RAM. While the internal memory of the phone consists of 64GB + 4GB RAM, 128GB + 4GB RAM and 128GB + 6GB RAM. Also, the phone comes with a 13MP dual-camera system.

Huawei promises to keep its devices up to date, be it its high-end flagship models or budget devices.

Thanks to the company’s swift action, Huawei Enjoy 20e is getting the August 2022 update to further improve its performance.

To download the Update:

  • Select Settings menu
  • Scroll to and select the System & updates option
  • Select the Software update option
  • Click on the CHECK FOR UPDATES option
  • Wait for the search to finish
  • Then hit the Download and install option, if the update is available for you.

The download size of the update is not specified. Hence, we advise you to download over a Wi-Fi connection. Furthermore, make sure to back up important data beforehand, and the update package will be deleted automatically after the installation process gets over.
