Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus, 20 Pro 5G and Z 5G receiving February 2021 security update

Huawei has a variety of products in each segment whether it is smartphones, smart screens, wearables, or laptops. Huawei’s Enjoy series lies under the budget-smartphone category that always attracts buyers with its latest offerings.

Now, Huawei has started sending a new software update for the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus, Enjoy 20 Pro, and Enjoy Z 5G listed below. This update installs the security note released in February 2021 that fixes different levels of exploits and issues that protect your device against threats.

• Huawei Enjoy Z 5G

EMUI Version Details:  The Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus users can identify this update with EMUI 10.1 version EMUI 10.1.1.167 upgrade from EMUI 10.1.1.166. While the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro and Enjoy Z 5G users are getting EMUI 10.1.1.204 upgrade from EMUI 10.1.1.203.

UPDATE LOG:

Security: Integrates the Android security patch released in February 2021.

Security patch details: February 2021 security patch fixes 2 critical and 26 high levels, and 77 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

HOW TO UPDATE UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

EMUI 11 status:

The Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro 5G and Enjoy Z 5G smartphones are eligible to install the latest custom OS, EMUI 11. However, the company has not made any announcement related to this yet. Meanwhile, users are eagerly waiting to get this major update.
