Huawei EMUI September 2023 Updates List

We’re in September 2023 and Huawei is rolling out new software updates for the EMUI-powered devices. Also, the company is releasing new security patches for your phone to improve privacy and data safety. The new firmware comes in batches and you may need to look at the software settings to fetch it immediately.

As of September 10th, we’ve not seen any rollout for this month’s security patch. However, we may see a new release soon. Meanwhile, the expansion of EMUI 13 continues, Huawei P50 Pro, Mate Xs 2, P50 Pocket, and Nova 10 series received this major upgrade. Still, additional devices aren’t announced for EMUI 13 eligibility.

There will be new software updates and security patch releases throughout September 2023 for Huawei EMUI users. And this archive will keep you posted with all of them.

September 2023 Updates List:

September 1, 2023:

• Huawei started releasing EMUI 13 for the Huawei Nova 10 series globally. The company is sending this upgrade to the EMUI 12 users and existing EMUI 13 beta testers. The OTA package size for Huawei Nova 10 for EMUI 12 users will be larger than the EMUI 13 beta testers. EMUI 13 comes with plenty of new features and optimizations over its predecessor. Therefore, we suggest all users download this new software as soon as it appears.
• Last month, Huawei released EMUI 13 for the Huawei P50 Pocket, and the company now sending the August 2023 security patch for this flip-style device with firmware version 13.0.1.242.

September 2, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 users can now download the August 2023 security patch, which brings better system safety for the users.

September 9, 2023:

• Huawei P50 Pro is getting the August 2023 security patch with EMUI version 13.0.0.242 and 312 megabytes of package size. However, it’s only for the phone running EMUI 13 software. If you haven’t already, grab this new firmware because it has a lot to offer.

September 16, 2023:

• Huawei P40 Pro is receiving a new software update with a September 2023 security patch with EMUI version 12.0.0.345. You should get this software as soon as it arrives.

September 19, 2023:

• Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm smartwatch is getting a September 2023 update with system optimizations and improvements.

September 20, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 is fetching the September 2023 EMUI security patch with version 12.0.1.302 and a package size of 373 megabytes.

September 23, 2023:

• The Huawei P40 Pro September 2023 security patch is now expanding for more global users.
• Huawei Nova Y70 gets new firmware with a 12.0.0.248 build version and 246MB downloadable package size.
• Huawei Nova Y90 is receiving a September 2023 update with a 12.0.1.195 EMUI version, as users are waiting for a new major upgrade.

September 29, 2023:

• Global Huawei Mate 50 Pro users can install the September 2023 update with EMUI 13 version 13.0.0.246 and the next major update is still awaited, check more details here.
