Global Huawei Mate 50 Pro picks September 2023 update as users eyes for next the major EMUI upgrade

Huawei Mate 50 Pro users are receiving a new global software update with new security patches released in September 2023 for an improved and safe user experience. Such updates are really important for a Huawei device and we suggest all of the users get it installed as soon as possible.

Talking about the firmware, the new Huawei Mate 50 Pro update carries build version 13.0.0.246. You can see that the phone has EMUI 13 onboard because it was the first smartphone to pre-pack this EMUI version.

However, Huawei is also expanding EMUI 13 for more devices via the OTA method. Still, there are numerous devices left behind to cover under the EMUI 13 belt.

Therefore, Huawei Mate 50 Pro users are also waiting for a new major software release. For now, Huawei has announced no plans for the upcoming EMUI version but it could be EMUI 14. Meanwhile, we are waiting for more details.
