Huawei demonstrates Pura 70 Ultra satellite image-sending feature

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is full of excellent features and one of them is the new satellite image-sending capability. From the name, the feature can let you send and receive not only text but also picture messages from contacts even when in a no-network area.

The CTO of Huawei Device Business Group – Bruce Lee has recently illustrated how the new satellite image-sending feature works in the Pura 70 Ultra smartphone.

Bruce Lee says that the new satellite picture-sending capability relies upon the Changlian app. One can easily send an image via satellite connectivity to their contacts. Whereas, the other party can use the Changlian app to receive the picture.

Lee also mentions that users who don’t have the Changlian app will receive only text messages. The new feature helps show the real-time status of a place.

Note that the image sent by satellite will go through several extreme compression processes. This will ultimately make the image blur or distort the details given in the respective picture. This is why, the feature is only meant for emergency usage.

Huawei also shared a video explaining how dual satellite communication in Pura 70 Ultra plays wonders when you get stuck in no-man’s land, open areas, deserts, or bad network slots. Users can easily second text/location via satellite to seek rescue.

The high-end model of the Pura 70 series supports both satellite text and calling facilities. It even lets you edit an already-sent message free of cost. Users can send and receive important messages or initiate/pick up a call even in no cellular network.

Beidou Satellite Messaging service enables you to send/receive a text while Huawei uses the Tiantong -1 satellite phone communication system and China’s self-developed network to offer satellite voice and value-added services.

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra also supports wireless communication with the help of an advanced fusion (Lingxi antenna, Lingxi network, and Lingxi AI algorithm) for a better, stable, and strong communication experience under weak signal conditions.
