Huawei confirms Standard Pura 70 does not support Nearlink technology
Huawei Pura 70 series consists of four models – Standard, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra. While all these handsets offer impressive capabilities, the company has confirmed that the standard Huawei Pura 70 smartphone does not support the Nearlink technology.
In a recent post shared by Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong, many netizens asked if the standard Pura 70 smartphone supports Nearlink.
In response to the question, Huawei device customer services said that the base version doesn’t carry the Nearlink capability while other models like the Pura 70 Pro/Pro+/Ultra do support the respective technology and offer efficient functioning.
Nearlink technology refers to a short-range wireless connection that aims to enhance the connectivity experience. It includes a combination of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standards to provide more benefits over traditional wireless solutions.
It is understood that Huawei has skipped the respective capability for the Pura 70 for being a base variant. Meanwhile, other high-end models are capable of featuring Nearlink support and enable consumers to work accordingly.

Even though the Huawei Pura 70 standard version does not support the new Nearlink capability, it has many other significant features. For instance, the device has 2D and mask-wearing face recognition. It comes in beautiful designs and colors that can bind your eyes.
The phone runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and has a wireless communication facility for a stable experience when you are traveling in a bus, train, or subway.
