Huawei, CATL and Changan Automobile launches Avita E11, three tech giants with one aim

On August 24, 2021, Huawei, CATL, and Changan Automobile have officially announced cooperation to build cars and launched the first model new car brand – Avita as Avita E11. This announcement was much awaited by the fans as well as the consumers and has been reported before.

At the conference, Changan Automobile Chairman Zhu Huarong, Huawei Executive Director, Smart Car Solutions BU CEO Yu Chengdong, and CATL Chairman Zeng Yuqun formally launched the new energy brand Avita.

The Avita E11 is equipped with solutions and hardware provided by the world’s leading intelligent electric networked vehicle architecture – CHN (Changan C, Huawei H, CATL N)

To be mentioned, this model is provided by Huawei with software and hardware capabilities. It also has driverless, HarmonyOS vehicles, etc. This is the same as the previous BAIC Jihu.

At today’s press conference, this car only showed a short film, a silhouette, and the actual appearance remains mysterious. On the other hand, it can be seen that there is nothing to say about the price of the car. Therefore, we need more information on this matter.

According to the information, the Avita E11 is powered by the full-stack solutions provided by all of the three partners including – Changan, Huawei, and CATL. It’s equipped with a CATL battery, features Huawei’s HI smart car solution, and is manufactured by Changan.

The Avita E11 draws under a pure electric medium-sized SUV. Therefore, its size could be 4.8 meters long.

It’s reported that the current model of the Avita E11 has already completed the prototype model development and proceeded towards the on-ground inspection. It’s expected that this new smart car will be unveiled by the end of this year.

Next 5 Years of Plan:

Previously, Changan Automobile made a declaration on a social media platform informing that Avita will launch new 5 models founded on the CHN architecture in the coming five years.
