Huawei 66W GaN multi-port super-fast charger was opened for pre-sale until July 29. According to the latest information, this super-fast charging adapter goes on sale officially and interested users can purchase it right away.

The company introduced this 66W GaN charger last year along with Mate 40 series phones. But this charger wasn’t made available to users until recently when the company started taking its pre-orders.

The price further increases with data cables:

  • AC 3A CP51 data cable – 369 yuan
  • AC 5A AP71 data cable – 406 yuan
  • AC 6A CC790 data cable – 416 yuan

Huawei 66W GaN charger specifications

Starting with the design, this charger comes with multiple ports and a compact and slim body. Due to its small size, the charge becomes easy to carry, while having the advantage of charging more than one device.

In terms of size, this charger expands at 31mm × 31mm × 62mm and weighs just 110 grams, which is not much considering its highest 66W fast charging.

This charging adapter has three different ports including a USB Type-C and two USB Type-A. It got support for three different charging capacities such as – 5V 3A, 10V 4A, and 11V 6A.

You can this charging to fill a device with 15W to the highest of 66W. The USB Type-C port can support a maximum output of a 20V 3.25A and accounts for 65W charging.

Whereas, the USB-A1 port can be used for low-capacity devices and got 10W, 20W, and 22.5W outputs. While the USB Type-A has covered all the flagship-level smartphones with its 40W and 66W charging capacity.
