Huawei 5G+ AR summit set for June 17, will promote 5G network and Augmented Reality technologies

Huawei is going to host the 5G + AR summit on June 17 with global operators, regulatory agencies, partners, media, and analysts. The aim to organize this conference is to jointly discuss the layout, key agenda on 5G+AR and to promote the 5G plus AR ecosystem.

Huawei is a world-renowned leader in the field of networking technologies and the Chinese tech giant is getting advanced in the field of 5G technologies. That’s not it because of the increasing trends and evolving technologies, such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), there are more opportunities that have been created for the company.

According to the data revealed by a Chinese research firm, the global VR industry scale has reached close to 100 billion yuan. Also, the average compound growth rate from 2017 to 2022 is expected to be around 70%, which is a big growth rate.

With a fast 5G network, it can become very easy to transmit the local area information and 3D images, which will strongly support users. The faster transition means faster access to data, which helps to improve VR and AR experiences.

To be mentioned, Huawei also has its own AR Engine called Cyberverse, which also powers its new map app – AR MAp. This new app utilizes the power of Augmented Reality (AR) for a whole new kind of map navigation.

Huawei’s AR innovation platform offers several open capabilities that are AR visual positioning, AR visual navigation, AR SLAM, AR virtual and real integration, and AR remote collaboration capabilities.
