Honor V30 series may have a “Pro” version with OLED display, dual-selfie camera and more

Honor is preparing to launch its first 5G smartphone – Honor V30 later this month and new information regarding this Honor flagship revealed that the company may launch it in two variants similar to the Huawei Mate 30 series.

According to a well-known blogger from Weibo, the Honor V30 series could consist of a regular and a pro version with a single (single camera) and a wide punch-hole (dual-camera cutout) display respectively.

The dual camera of the V30 Pro will also have a depth sensor for selfies, which we’ve recently seen in a display image leak.

The Honor V30 version will come with an LCD display and the Honor V30 Pro will be equipped with OLED, as both of these featuring optical fingerprint sensors.

Honor V30 Pro to come with 4200mAh battery that can be recharged with 40W charging, 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The Pro version will also have major rear camera upgrades.

As confirmed by Huawei, this phone series will be powered by Kirin 990 5G. However, we could expect Huawei to introduce both 4G and 5G versions fo this series.

Honor V30 series could start below 3000 yuan (USD 419) but we need to wait until the official price comes out.
