Honor Play 8 launched, new ultra-affordable smartphone priced at 599 yuan ($87)

On July 9, Honor has launched its super affordable Honor Play 8 device in China, including attractive specs.

As for the specifications, Honor Play 8 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ dewdrop display, powered by Mediatek MT6761 Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage.

For photography, the phone has a rear camera of 13MP with f/1.8 aperture, and a front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on EMUI 9.0 (Android Pie) as it’s packed with 3020mAh battery. Also, the phone supports a three-card tray including two for SIM cards and one for microSD slot.

Honor Play 8 is priced at 599 yuan ($87) for 2GB + 32GB variant available in two colors and currently on sale at Vmall, JD, TMall, Sunning and more.
