Honor 8X begin receiving July 2020 security update

Honor 8X is device that needs no introduction and one of the major milestones among the X-series. This device is running on EMUI 10 (Android 10) and now the company is improving this device with continuous updates.

In its latest edition of the system improvement, the Honor 8X is receiving a new EMUI update, which brings system security patches released in July 2020.

July 2020 Security Patch Details:

The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

Software Version:

July 2020 security update for Honor 8X comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.215. Users will require to download a 109MB update package.
