Honor 30S January 2022 update

Honor 30S users have started receiving a new HarmonyOS software update that installs January 2022 security patch. However, this smartphone was initially packed with Magic UI 3.1 and currently performing very well with HarmonyOS 2.0 software system.

According to the information, the Honor 30S smartphone’s January 2022 update comes with the HarmonyOS firmware version 2.0.0.220 updated from 2.0.0.218. As you know, the update may take some to reach all users. So, wait patiently to get an update on your device.

The new changelog reveals that it includes the January 2022 security improvements that bring fixes for a massive count of 130 CVEs found in the latest HarmonyOS software system for better system security.

Update Instruction:

Honor 30S users you can visit the smartphone settings, then click on system & update followers by software updates. Afterward, a page appears on the screen, tap on check for updates, and wait for a while.

If an update is available, click on the download and install option and after installation, the device will reboot automatically. On the other hand, you can also download the update through the My Huawei app, open the My Huawei app, go to the update section, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Before updating, make sure that the phone should charge at least 30% or above. Also, it has enough storage to download the package as well as use a stable network connection.
