Hongmeng OS to launch on April 24 and Huawei P50 series on April 27, both dates new technologies

Huawei’s Hongmeng OS and the Huawei P50 series are moving to launch among consumers. In the meantime, the company is working to prepare and decide a finalize a launch but the anticipation is clearly there.

According to the latest information coming from Chinese media, a Huawei staff member has revealed that Huawei will hold two separate rehearsals on April 22 and on April 27. The theme of these press conferences are Wisdom Connecting Everything, Wisdom and Hundreds of People” and “Art Deconstruction, No Prophet” (Translated from Chinese).

Previously, it was reported that Huawei Developer Conference 2021 Cloud will be helped from April 24 – 26 and Huawei is likely to launch Hongmeng OS (HarmonyOS) to the public on the first day of this event.

Another Weibo tipster also exposed the information that the Huawei p50 series is equipped with Hongmeng OS and the company is likely to hold a global launch conference on April 27. The launch of the Huawei P50 lineup was previously tipped to be delayed in May, which is likely to be the release date in the Chinese market.

Furthermore, Bruce Lee, president of Huawei’s consumer business flagship product line is currently operating an unreleased Huawei smartphone, which the Weibo users expect to be the upcoming Huawei P50. However, there’s no certainty on this matter.

Hongmeng OS:

At the launch of the Huawei Mate X2, Huawei announced that it’ll launch the Hongmeng OS for mobile devices in April and the company will reveal this software in smartphones very soon.

Furthermore, the Chinese tech giant has also confirmed that the Huawei Mate X2 will be in the first batch of devices to get the Hongmeng OS first hand. The first batch also includes Huawei Mate 40 and P40 flagships. However, there are more devices that could include later on.

Huawei P50:

Aside from the Hongmeng OS, it’s expected that this upcoming flagship will come in three models, consisting of the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. Some of the renders of these phones have shown us a new camera design, which is humongous and looks very big on the backside of the devices.

Another change Huawei is making in the P50 series is the new punch-hole in the display to house a selfie camera. Still, Huawei has not announced an exact launch date of the Huawei P50 series but we could expect the company to shed some light on it very soon.
